It was raining so hard and the winds were so strong. There was no electricity for around 8 hours. Everybody had to stay indoors. I heard that it is really bad outside. I really hope and pray that the rains will stop already.
Uno had to come up with ways to entertain himself aside from playing with his toys. Good thing I had stored a box of finger paints for times such as this (note to self: it is really good to have stocks of "arts and crafts" stuff all the time. it does not have to be expensive, just simple things like clay, pots of paints, construction paper, etc.).
It is at times like this that we get to enjoy the simplicity of life without the ipad, the playstation, the computer or whathaveyou.
