Scenes from our Sunday.

Look, how beautiful! It is officially Christmas!

When Uno saw the Chipmunks, he said excitedly, "Ma, take a picture of me please!". I am not sure why they were standing there  - do they have a new movie?

Yes, I know. Papa and Mama smiling and posing nicely and Uno has a ... I am not sure what to call it. I am used to that by now. I get so happy and excited when I review the pictures and see a nice smile on mine and my hubby's face. And as soon as I scan downwards, I see Uno experimenting with different kinds of facial expressions and poses. Almost all our family pictures are like this.

While waiting for our ride, Uno's yaya (Ate Len) called out to me, "Ma'am, kuhanan kita dyan kasi ang ganda ng background!". I willingly oblige and give her a pose:). After one shot, she said, "Ay, sandali Ma'am uulitin natin kasi isasama ko pala yung display na nasa gilid kasi ang ganda din pala!" (She is talking about those small boxes piled on top of each other at my left.) Yes, she is my official photographer:).

The CEOs have a meeting too.

If Tita Aleah, Tita Mona and Tita Michele have "coffee shop" meetings, of course the CEOs have their own meetings too :) . . .

Hmmm, I wonder what they are discussing. "How is our cash flow?", "What mask should I put on your picture?" "What car should we buy today?" Or perhaps ... "What shall we give our mommies for Christmas:)?"

Have a nice weekend everyone:)!

Thank you.

Today, I am very, very, very thankful for My Treasures. My heart is full and words are not enough to express my gratitude. Thank you for all the blessings, my dear Lord.
Happy Thanksgiving.

My favorites.

If I may, I will interrupt my kiddie posts for a moment, with a mommy post :). I just got inspired yesterday afternoon to take a few snaps of my favorite accessories of late. I never  really had the intention of collecting them, nor do I still now, but I don't know why everytime I see some bangles and cuffs in shops, I easily get attracted and lured :). And if I may say so, TEMPTED - to bring them home with me :). Good thing, we do have a lot of beautiful and affordable ones at that, around the Metro :). You just have to really look around well for these beauties. I love wearing them for the extra ooomph and color it gives to any outfit wether it is just a "shirt and leggings" ensemble or a "white button down and maxi skirt" ensemble :).

My favorite accessories as of late :).

I love cuffs of all kinds and I don't know why but I do get easily attracted to the whites, blacks and neutral colored ones :).

Plain ones, Studded ones, Ones with stones and skulls and charms and whathaveyou :).

As of now though, this one holds a special place in my heart :). It is on heavy rotation because I love its perfect width - not too thick and not too thin, and I love its perfect cobalt blue color.

Took Cobalt Blue for a spin out yesterday :).

Do you love Baubles and Bangles and Beads too :)?

"It was so fun, Mom."

That is the first thing Uno said as soon as he stepped in the car last night - "It was so fun, Mom." You see, he attended a birthday party of a former classmate of his, all by himself (but of course his Ate Len was with him still:) ) We decided to let him go to the  birthday party without the Papa and Mama, to slowly let him be independent and to let him learn how to socialize by himself. And besides, the hubby and I wanted to have some much needed "alone" time, so we waited for him at a nearby Starbucks with our Peppermint Mochas and Peppermint Brownie and whiled the time away :).

When we picked him up, the party was not done yet. Good thing, because the party was too cute to not have souvenir pictures of!

The party's theme was Toy Story. This was the invite. The guests were asked to come in Cowboy or Cowgirl outfits.

The stage was adorable! That is Uno at the center with his classmates Izzie and Joaquin.

Look at this cute table centerpiece!

They had a Candy and Sweets buffet. All ranch styled :).

Buzz came to dance and play :)!

And it is cake blowing time!

He said too, "Mama, I joined all the games!" And look at his hard-earned loot :) . . .

I was so happy and proud of him that he was able to have so much fun even without Papa and Mama :)! Of course, that night he slept as Woody.

Easiest way to spruce up a room.

A few months back, as I was going around The DIY Shop, I found some wall decals on Sale. I bought some because for one, they were quite cheap and also, we are at a point where my hubby and I still cannot decide on how to do Uno's room. One day, he wants his room theme to be wrestling. Then the next week it is Spiderman. Then the next, it is Cars. Oh my! That is why his room is a hodge podge of all the characters he loves :). So the walls of his room remained bare too with only the wooden letters U, N and O mounted near his headboard. I used these three wooden letters  in his nursery  before in our old home and kept them with me for sentimental reasons :). So when I saw the decals, I decided to stick some on Uno's room walls so they won't look too bare anymore. And so that when he is a little bit bigger and when we have saved enough to do a room makeover, I can just easily remove the decals and not feel bad about it because at least, they did not cost me that much :).

Those are the penguin decals that I stuck as if they were playing and jumping to the water. I was happy because Uno loved them :).

On the other wall, I stuck some sporty decals. Uno loved it too because I told him that the red cap had his name on it.
Number 1 = Uno :).

And when I went home to my home in the province (Dumaguete City), I also did some wall decals in my nieces' bedroom :). There were not much choices available there but I found a cute vine design that I thought would fit their room since they have a double decker bed and some red butterflies design too. Sorry though, I do not have a picture of the red fluttering butterflies that I stuck on their closet wall. But this is how the vine looked like:
That's my cutie pie niece, Roseanna and Uno when we went home for a vacation last July. Hi San-san :)! We miss you!

It is the weekend again :). Have a blessed and fun one!

Karate Mornings.

Saturday mornings are Karate mornings. Uno loves his Karate classes because as usual, he gets to imagine doing fighting scenes like his favorite characters. I love his Karate for the excercise he gets and for how the sport instills discipline and patience. We go to AAK at Ateneo and they hold their classes at the Moro Sports Center. Its a beautiful place because of all the trees and the fresh air.

This is my view as I sit on a bench while waiting for Uno. Beautiful isn't it? A lot of people spend their Saturday mornings walking or jogging on this deck.

This is basically how their training classes look like.

And this is how their Exhibition, which is held once a year, looks like.

And this is me and my Karate Kid:) after his training. Excuse that facial expression of his, please. He is still in his "pretending to be a karate master mode". Now off we go to get our  favorite cool, yummy drinks! Watermelon Zagu for Uno and Hazelnut Cappuccino Zagu for me :)!

Me Time.

Every morning during schooldays, I get to have my precious "me time".  After I drop off Uno at his school,  I get a two-hour-more-or-less pocket of time that I get to spend the way I want to (that is also if, I do not have errands to do). One of the things I really enjoy doing during my "me time" is having coffee and breakfast at this special little cafe. I am so lucky because this cozy nook is just so near Uno's school.

Chocolate French Toast with Country Sausages. Yummmm :). Another favorite breakfast of mine is their "Spicy Tuyo".

My daily wake-me-upper :). I cannot do without my morning coffee :). What about you:)?

Flourless Molten Chocolate Cake. This is mine and my hubby's favorite. You know what it
tastes like? Melted Milo :).

Oh no, I am getting hungry now. Have to wait till Monday to visit there and get my breakfast fix :). If you find yourself in the Katipunan area, visit this cafe :).

Yipppeee it is Friday . . . Happy Weekend everyone :)!

Bathtime.

Bathtime is one of Uno's simple joys. Most specially, when I set the bath for him and make heaps of bubbles :). He does not play with rubber duckies and floaties though. He plays with his superheroes and cartoon characters. When the bubbles are all afloating and he has chosen his particular "companions" for his bath, off he goes to his magical imaginary places . . .
